You will see three options for geography selections. If you select 'All Countries,' all contributors will be allowed. If you select 'Pick Countries,' you can target your task to contributors in specific countries. If you select 'Exclude Countries,' you can choose to exclude specific countries. These settings are useful for tasks that require specific cultural or language understanding.

Note: We determine contributor location for both Target and Exclude Countries based on a contributor’s IP address.

All Countries

Select this option to target contributors from all available countries for your job.

Pick Countries

Pick Countries allows ONLY those contributors with IP addresses in the countries selected to participate in the job.

Exclude Countries

Excluded Countries excludes contributors with IP addresses in the countries selected to participate in the job.

Selecting Countries

There are two menus used to target your contributors:

  • Available Countries is a list of all countries that our contributors access tasks from.
  • Targeted Countries displays all of the countries that you have selected for this job.

To select country, simply select a country from the Available Countries list and it will populate in the Targeted Countries list. To deselect a country, click the country in the Selected Countries list and it will be removed. You can choose up to 15 countries to target at a time.

Below the Geography section, you will see the Language Capability section. If you check any of the language boxes, only contributors who are verified speakers of that language will be allowed to work on your job. You may only select one language at a time.
